e:HEV Technology
Our next-generation e:HEV Hybrid technology provides a dynamic, electrified driving experience, giving the new Jazz range high performance and economy with low emissions. This advanced technology makes the new Jazz more relevant than ever in today’s driving environment.

EV Drive

In the Electric Drive mode, you are running 100% on smooth, silent electric power. This mode will usually be used when accelerating from standstill or during low speed cruising.

Hybrid Drive

Hybrid Drive is when the petrol engine and electric motor combine for optimum power and economy, such as when you're accelerating on the move or overtaking.

Engine Drive

Engine Drive occurs during sustained, higher-speed cruising when the petrol engine is at its most efficient powering the car.

TWO OF A KIND
Same hybrid powertrain – different personalities.
Always fun wherever you go, with a direct drive that’s smooth and seamless; it even cleverly replicates the sound of a gear change so you can experience the sensation of shifting gears too.

ADVANCED SAFETY
The all-new Jazz range: where safety comes as standard.

Incorporating our latest Honda SENSING suite of advanced driver assistance technologies, the new Jazz will keep you and your passengers safe and sound.
HONDA SENSING PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY PACKAGE

To complete the strong package of the new Jazz, Honda provides the most comprehensive suite of advanced safety features and driver aids in its class.

The scope of Honda’s SENSING technology has been enhanced with the application of a new wider, higher-definition camera – replacing the previous camera and radar set-up. This enables improved awareness of vehicle surroundings, including recognition of verges without kerbs or roadside markings.

The Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS) is improved with night-time operation to detect pedestrians and cyclists when there is no street lighting, and now applies the brakes when oncoming vehicles cut across or turn into the path of the car.

The new camera system also enables Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to follow traffic at low speeds in congestion and applies Lane Keep Assist on urban and rural roads – as well as multi-lane highways – for increased safety in more situations.
Keeping a safe distance with CMBS

If there is a possibility of a collision with a vehicle or a pedestrian, the system will alert you while simultaneously reducing your speed – helping to minimise the severity of any impact. We have now improved the system with night-time operation to detect pedestrians or cyclists where there is no street lighting; it even applies the brakes if oncoming vehicles cut across or turn into your path.
Intelligent-Adaptive Cruise Control

This feature detects if a vehicle in a neighbouring lane intends to cut in front of you and adjusts will adjust your speed in advance. It also helps you maintain the distance between you and the car in front, so you don’t have to manually change your speed.

Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Following
This function maintains a set cruising speed and following distance from the vehicle in front. If the detected vehicle comes to a stop, your CR-V will decelerate and stop without you having to keep your foot on the brake. Simply tap the accelerator to resume the operation. (CVT equipped models only)
Lane Keeping Assist System

This helps keep you in the middle of your lane, providing a less stressful driving experience by reducing the need for steering correction movements and driving effort on the motorway.
Road Departure Mitigation

A windscreen mounted camera detects whether the car is veering off the road and uses the Electric Power Steering to apply subtle corrections to keep your vehicle in its lane. In certain conditions, it can also apply the brakes.
Traffic Sign Recognition

Cross Traffic Monitor and Blind Spot Information
Radar sensors for the Cross Traffic Monitor are situated at the side rear-quarters of the vehicle to warn you of approaching vehicles when reversing. Blind Spot Information uses radar technology to automatically detect vehicles in your blind spot, alerting you via a warning symbol in the door mirror (available on certain models.)
